Dehydration, or drying, is one
of the oldest and gentlest methods of food preservation. It works by removing
only the water content so all other nutrients remain, and become highly
concentrated. All of our fresh, dehydrated raw pet food products are
formulated to meet the AAFCO nutrient profiles. They're also great
as a base for a raw (BARF) or other home made diet. They have balanced
Calcium: Phosphorus ratios, so your own choice of raw or cooked meat can be
added, if desired.
Feeding Guidelines & Hydration Amounts
The Honest Kitchen's dehydrated foods must be hydrated with
warm water, before serving. Each bag of food will make just over 4 times
its weight in fresh food, when hydrated.
